Bruce's responsibilities at Laramie Energy II include supervision of the Company's acquisition and land administration activities, gas marketing, accounting, treasury, insurance, financial, HR, and legal matters. He was a co-founder of Laramie I and served as its Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer.

Bruce had over twenty years of transactional experience financing and advising oil and gas exploration and production companies, both internationally and domestically, before joining the industry. Prior to Laramie I, he was Director of Corporate Development of Forest Oil Corporation in Denver where he managed the Company's corporate acquisition activities. Until mid-2000, Bruce was a Managing Director with the Chase Manhattan Bank in London (predecessor to J.P. Morgan Chase) specializing in international oil and gas project finance. From 1989 to 1994, Bruce was a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen's Corporate Finance Advisory group, first in Dallas then followed by multi-year assignments in London and Moscow. Bruce began his career in 1982 as an oil and gas banker in Denver, subsequently becoming a Vice President with First Republic Bank in Dallas (predecessor to Bank of America).

Bruce graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with an M.B.A. in Finance, a B.A. in Geology and a B.B.A. in Petroleum Land Management. He attained his C.P.A. certification in 1989.
