Ken Leis joined Laramie I at its inception in 2004 and continued as a co-founder of Laramie Energy in 2007. Ken manages Laramie Energy's Grand Junction office and is the principal contact for land owner relationship matters.
In addition to being our senior operational landman overseeing field development, Ken is responsible for Laramie Energy's lease acquisitions, surface use agreement and right-of-way negotiations, well permitting, and surface owner and local government relations. Ken is a specialist in all aspects of petroleum land work including due diligence, negotiations, and document preparation.
Ken began his career as a petroleum landman with Amoco's Denver office in 1965 and over the course of his career was a land manager for Anschutz Corporation and Inca Oil and Gas in addition to having his own firm.
Ken attended University of Wyoming and University of Colorado.
