Prior to joining Laramie in mid-2007, he was a Senior Geoscientist with Williams RMT Production Company and was responsible for Williams' development and exploitation of a major new field in the Piceance Basin.
Mark began his career in 1979 with Texaco and spent over 10 years working on the generation of exploration prospects and plays throughout the major Rockies basins. In 1991, Mark's responsibilities shifted to Texaco's international projects where he completed regional and field wide geologic studies for existing and new ventures in Thailand and Malaysia. From 1994 to 2003, Mark lived abroad as senior development geologist for Texaco and ChevronTexaco. He was first in Kuwait for four years where he served as team leader for a major field development project, and then assigned to projects in Sumatra, Indonesia for five years where he was responsible for mapping, designing, and implementing large scale steam-flood projects. Upon Mark's return to the USA in 2004, he joined Medicine Bow Energy as a senior geologist responsible for its exploitation projects in the San Juan and Powder River Basins until the company's sale in 2005.
