Mark manages Laramie's new project development, acquisitions, joint ventures, and farm-in negotiations and transaction execution. In addition, Mark manages Laramie's relationships with its working interest partners and supervises our land records and division order administration function.
Prior to joining Laramie in mid-2007, Mark was Anadarko Petroleum's Director of Land for the Rocky Mountain States following Anadarko's acquisition of Western Gas Resources in 2006. Previously, Mark had been with Western Gas Resources for over 15 years, and was Vice President/Director of Land since 2000. He began his career in petroleum land management in 1981 and has managed all facets of land management, business development, acquisitions and divestitures, and accounting in both the upstream and midstream sectors of the oil and gas industry.
Mark graduated from the University of Wyoming with a B.S. in Finance. He is a Certified Professional Landman and is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, the Denver Association of Professional Landmen, the Wyoming Association of Professional Landmen, and The Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation.
