Bob Hea is responsible for all of Laramie Energy's engineering, gas field development, and production operations. He has 25 years of oil and gas experience with a special emphasis on planning, managing and implementing cost efficient operations.
Bob was Laramie I's senior reservoir and operations engineer, focusing on economic and technical evaluations of capital projects, preparing reservoir studies, managing the implementation of field infrastructure projects, and supervising Laramie's reserve data base. His E&P experience prior to joining Laramie I in early 2005, includes 20 years of production, facility, and reservoir engineering in Gulf Coast onshore and offshore basins and 3 years of business analysis in a financial planning and controls capacity. Previously, Bob was the Gulf Coast Region Reservoir Engineering Manager with Forest Oil Corporation. Before joining Forest in 1997, he was Senior Operations / Analytical Engineer focused on Gulf of Mexico fields with Vastar Resources, a spin-off ARCO created in 1993. Bob began his career in 1982 with ARCO Oil and Gas where he held various assignments as reservoir engineer, operations/analytical engineer, production engineer, and facilities engineer primarily focused on onshore South Texas fields.
Bob received a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri at Rolla. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
